People buy from brands they like. It\u2019s just that simple. Likability is at the core of all our preferences, decision-making and loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it\u2019s as true for B2B brands as it is for consumer-facing brands. Whether they realize it or not, customers in both sectors are looking for brands that speak to them. That they can relate to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, what is brand personality and how is it different from brand principles?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A brand\u2019s personality is the way you would describe it if your brand were a person. It can be expressed through adjectives and via demographics like gender, age, and social class. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If Harley Davidson were a person, it would be a man. Victoria\u2019s Secret, a woman.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple would be young, hip, and creative, and Microsoft would be a mature professional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chanel would live in a mansion and Columbia would live in a ski lodge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Brand personality humanizes your brand, gives it depth and nuance. It\u2019s communicated through tone of voice, colours and imagery. It\u2019s such an important component of your brand essence because every customer experiences personality in each interaction they have with the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike brand principles, which
